Captain Cook Slipway. The Slipway was the first real ale to be brewed in The Captain Cook Microbrewery. With a fairly light appearance it has an initial sharp taste, followed by a hoppy aftertaste.
Captain Cook Sunset. The Sunset was the second beer to surface from the
microbrewery. Similar to the Slipway it is a fairly pale ale, which has an extremely smooth taste with a hint of citrus flavour.
Captain Cook Easter Island. The Easter Island was the third beer to surface from the brewery following the Slipway and Sunset. It fastly became a successful seasonal beer available throughout the spring and summer months. The beer is a dark ale with a sharp malty twist.
Captain Cook Black Porter. The Black Porter was originally brewed as a seasonal beer that only appeared through the winter months. However, due to popularity it is now available in the pub all year round.
As it's name suggests, the Porter is a
very dark, malty ale.
Captain Cook Endeavour. The Endeavour was originally brewed as a one off special beer to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brewery. Due to it's sheer popularity, the beer is now being brewed as a
regular ale for the pub. The beer
itself is a mid-brown strong
tasting bitter.
Captain Cook Angel's Touch. The Angel's Touch is the most recent addition to the Captain Cook range. It was brewed to celebrate Ashma's tenth year anniversary of working at the pub. The beer was an instant hit, and is now available both witihin the pub and for delivery elsewhere. It is a dark brown ale with an initial
sharp taste.
